Dee bowed to Albrecht Albrechtson, who eyed the leather robes he wore before nodding once, satisfied.
“What can I do for you sir?”
“I will see the King.”
“The intended king is otherwise engaged. If there is anything I can help you with?”
The narrowed eyes of the other dwarf showed he had noticed the correction. He stalked to the other side of the chamber and flung open the doors to the King’s rooms.
“Sir…”
Dee sighed. He resisted the urge to clean white dust from under his nails
It’s gone, it’s all gone.

Cutwell wasn’t with them when they reappeared. Keli seemed distressed as she looked around, but Mort and Isobel appeared far to absorbed in staring at their fingernails to notice that anything was amiss. It wasn’t until the wizard reappeared that they seemed to notice he had gone.
“Where have you been?!” the princess hissed.
“I… um… got a little lost in the big man’s house.” He wouldn’t meet their eyes.
In the hourglass room, Cutwell’s hourglass had been moved to sit on the shelf next to Mort’s. They were barely touching. It wasn’t much, but it was all he had.

I'm researching them off and on, though I have absolutely no idea what kind of story they'll eventually take part in. We'll see. =)
