nnyUnreserved recommendation for two stories, here. I know a lot of you don't read McShep fic, but I really think some of you will enjoy these fics regardless; there's something very modern-fairytale about them both. bookelfe, genarti, schiarire and fahye, for some reason, but I genuinely recommend them to absolutely anyone who enjoys beautifully written and wistful-sad stories.
lavvyan's Logopetria and its companion story, taste_is_sweet's Eloquence.
John watched in horrified fascination as Rodney literally choked on his words, strangely-shaped objects spilling from his mouth in utter silence except for his coughing and ragged breath.
