Man, I wish I still roleplayed. The urge to pretend to be Mr Bennet is overwhelming. :D

I'm drying slowly on my bed and watching episodes of Doctor Who for some reason; I have the latest SG:A downloaded, but it always takes me a while to work myself up to watching a new episode. Any other TV show is fine, but I get stressed watching SG:A because I have much invested in it. And I was getting hugely frustrated last night - semi-relatedly - at the Sky announcer bloke who kept saying that Carter, Keller and Dr Mck-eye were stuck inna hole. Is it too much to ask that they pronounce my favourite character's name right?

I'm working up the energy to get up and put some clothes on. It's freezing in my room, but on the other hand my laptop is warming me nicely. Hmm. Five more minutes. :D

Those are the days I want to just hide under robes and blankets until .. all hours, really. No getting out of bed!

But now that I have one of those gas fireplace thingies in my new apartment, it has a new dimension. I slowly drag myself out of bed, and then end up in front of the fireplace, and then nothing is making me move. Mmmmmmmm, warm.

Okay, getting tea would make me move. But then back to the fireplace. With tea.

Why the sudden Mr Bennet urge? *g* (I assume we're talking P&P? I have sudden Austen-reading urges right now, but those are because my sister recently gave me the boxset and I watched the Jane Austen Book Club today at the movies.)

My modern history teacher's name was McKay pronounced like that. I was a little confused upon my first foray into this fandom, but then it helped because really, I don't need to think about my history teacher while eadin slash.

Oh man, my love for that book knows no bounds. I once gave a 20 minute solo oral on two chapters of the book that was supposed to be a. 10 minutes and b. pairwork. (My English teacher gave me a special dispensation on both those things because she was the best English teacher EVER.)

Mr Bennet is, indeed, very awesome. :D
