I'm being quite phenomenally unproductive today, which frankly no one is surprised by. I have organised to go to a gym open day on saturday, though, which is a good thing; it's probably quite painfully expensive, but they are willing to discuss a 5 month membership (that's as long as I'm here for) whereas the slightly crappier other place has a minimum of 12 months, so there's a probability it'll work out cheaper anyway. And this one has a pool.
(Do not get me started on my love affair with swimming.)
I could find a cheaper pool, I know this - I'm pretty sure I can use the one at the uni for free, but the disadvantage with that is that Bath is rather known for its sports and I feel self-conscious in a swimsuit at the best of times. I don't need to be surrounded by healthy people while I attempt to waddle towards their ranks.
I'm going to potter off the the deli place now and buy some posh grub; I seem to have inadvertantly become a vegetarian again. This always happens when I'm living on my own. I don't particularly trust myself to cook meat properly, plus vegetable things - when done right - are so very tasty. And, I'm led to understand, reasonably healthy and shit. I've also got an appointment with the doctor later this afternoon to see about getting appointments to Talk To Someone, as well as renewing the prescription that I kinda let run out a couple of weeks ago. Off medication plus concussion and I wonder why I've been so bloody miserable lately. Ahahaha.
Finished reading Have His Carcase last night, which started very promisingly and then somehow lost the cute banter and got eaten by cyphers and russians halfway through. Shame, really.
