horridporrid's fault (and if you're not, you should totally read her reviews of SG:A because the amount of thought going into them is fascinating), but now every time I see Runner I'm going to get completely distracted.
The scene as it happens in canon:
(Dex picks up the packs and takes them outside. John looks round as Teyla starts wriggling her hand behind his back.)
SHEPPARD: What the hell are you doing?!
TEYLA: Getting my hand free.
SHEPPARD: Didn't feel that way!
