May. 10th, 2008 09:20 pmI can't quite work out if Princess is playing some kind of extended practical joke on me, or whether he's just really that stupid and offensive.
Like for instance, today I offered to help him move the dining room table outside. He said that it was heavy and I shouldn't do it because I'm a girl. I confess this made me laugh, to which he responded that I shouldn't come any of 'that woman power crap' with him. 'You know,' he continued, ignoring the frankly incredulous expression on my face, 'that's what I really hate about lesbians, how they tell blokes off when we try to do anything for them.' And the conversation genuinely got more sexist from there.
Now, see, he loves taunting Maggie about the fact that M's German, and there's always references to Nazis and Hitler and the like, and I really think he's joking with Maggie (and doesn't realise how close he is to getting hit). I suspect the same goes for me - he thinks it's a joke. But I have warned him that one of these days he is going to get slapped, and he can't say I didn't warn him it'd happen.
This post is brought to you by me kinda slightly avoiding the lesson I have to plan for my interview on Tuesday...
