The person right below you on my flist just posted a list of recs that includes a book by Lois McMaster Bujold. I am amused by the random overlap. :) (Also, that quote of hers is so true.) (Also the last quote. Mmm, bookshelves. Someday I will have a big house and there will be no art on the walls because they will all be covered in bookshelves.)
