Every now and again I just have these uncontrollable tangential ejaculations in my head. I DO NOT KNOW WHY. Like, just now, for no apparent reason my brain said "HELL YEAH, I HAVE SUPERPOWERS!" I think that voice came from the place where all my stories live.

Heh I think that is the same voice that commands me to get out of bed at 2am, when I can't sleep because Rodney and John are bickering in my head and "If you don't write it down right this minute I'll get you my pretty! And your little dog, too!"

My brain doesn't shout things out at me, it just repeats the same random sentence over and over whenever I'm least expecting it. At the moment it's "Spencer tipped his head back against the pillow and sighed" which has no bearing on anything, yet my brain's been playing it to me for about a month!

Every now and again? I go through days where I have handfuls of those voices having discussions entirely independent of my own thoughts :) I agree that they come from the place where the stories live, because they tend to get more excitable if I'm a) in the midst of a creative rush, or b) haven't allowed myself to write for a very long time.
