Went to the doctor and have been given prozac as an anti-anxiety thinger, which I'm not sure how I feel about. I hate medication I've heard of. *laughs*

I'm thinking I'll try this out for a while, and when I move to Cheltenham I'll see if I can explore other options like meditation or something.

I've lost my mobile phone - did I mention that? - so I had to stay up when I woke at 6 this morning (after about 4 hours sleep) so that I could make sure I didn't sleep through the appointment-booking time at the surgery. 'm gonna go have a nap. XD

I'm glad you went to the doctor. I'm always wary of medications, too, but sometimes they're necessary, so I hope this helps you out. Looking into other options is a good idea, too. Meditation or possibly tai chi, which I have not got round to trying myself but which a friend of mine said was very helpful. But, you know, that sort of stuff to help you find balance. *cuddles yooouuuu*

Wow, that was speedy! The NHS is full of surprises. :) Good luck with the drugs.

You're moving to Cheltenham?!

Speaking of travel plans... I'm done being busy, (I should probably get a proper job!) and now I'm around all week next week after Sunday, except for puppy school Wednesday night - which you could tag along to anyway, if you liked. And then I think I'm pretty much free forever. So... wanna come up and play? Watch some Due South, some SGA, some other totally geeky things? Maybe see if we can figure out a way that being in the same location opens up new podficcing options?

I'm glad you've been to the doctor, love. I assume you'll be on a fairly low dose of Prozac as it's being used as an anti-anxiety measure, so you should avoid the main side effects. Do give it time - SSRIs like that can take a few weeks to kick in. And if you do decide to stop taking them, _please_ don't do it alone without medical advice - it needs to be done under supervision, otherwise you can end up feeling really rubbish.

Lots of love, sweetie xx
