I've got most of my stuff packed up; I've interspersed packing with reading The Best Things in Life are Free by smittywing, which is sweet and satisfying with just about the right amount of angst to make me bounce ridiculously. I have so much stuff still to do today it's quite ridiculous, and tomorrow I'll be cleaning my room to within an inch of its life, but I shall still make time to watch Amelie or possibly Breakfast With Scott, depending on which brand of cute I'm in the mood for.

I'll also probably be watching this vid again: Scrapbook of My Life by mamoru22 (link goes to the vid on imeem) which is an incredibly cute McShep vid. The blend of drawing and clips works really well with the song, and it's just so satisfying. I have the sappiest grin on my face, you have no idea.

I don't suppose you'd link to vids you like and tell me why you like them? I'm always willing to find more, 'cos I'm relatively new to the whole thing.


(I confess, most of my good mood is the prospect of the new place and living with lunar_echo again. It's gonna be awesome.)

Shalott's Bohemian Like You (1st-2nd season McShep, cool use of clips, great song, wonderful pacing.)

Merathanel's The Fate of Atlantis (Season 1-3 - OMG SGA IS SO COOL. I want to be able to vid like this. It's the timing, and the scope!)

Ana's Better Day (Picked a random of my "whee, my show!" favorites. Also, I still think the timing of the clips to the lyrics is damn cool. Just look at "how can I brace myself for razor blades on whips?"!)
