Today's crane fly is called Marcus. So far I have saved his life and not delimbed him in any way, so I'm totally doing well on the unwanted bug front for a change. Feel like I ought to watch 38 minutes or something. Mmmmmmmm, neck.

Last night I slept not at all for fear of Colossus climbing on my face and dipping his little spider legs into my unwary mouth, so I must flee and make a nest of pillows. Sleep good, my little bread rolls!

Okay, is it me, or are you surrounded by an inordinate amount of members of the insect community?! I am new to your flist of infinite joy, so I had to ask.

ps. my half-inch long, quarter-inch thick pet spider wants to know where you live, and/or whether crane flies can be airmailed to his web outside on the porch...
