7am is totally fine (in a hideous kind of way) - puppy ownership has re-introduced me to such horrors.
Um, speaking of the pup... he sleeps in a cage. Would that cage be welcome on, say, your kitchen floor? He starts out excitable but crashes pretty quickly. Totally fine if not!
