Merlin update: Smaller is in love with Lancelot and wants Gwen/Morgana slash. Mostly I want an icon of Merlin with a double thumbs-up and massive grin.

I'm being made grumpy by medication at present - my cough medicine can only be taken at 6 hour intervals, which is not enough, the ibuprofen is doing absolutely nothing to touch the cough-caused headache, and the prozac is making it pretty much impossible to write. (Along with the brain passageways which have apparently been backed up with snot.)

I'm sick to the back teeth of my own complaining, also.

My cure for this, obviously (and I can't think why I didn't come up with it earlier), is to read Good Omens.

Also - you mean Morgana/Gwen isn't canon? XD (Oh, this show. It gets the love triangle SO WRONG, but I cannot help but approve heartily of the general love-and-adorableness fest that it is.)

Paracetamol is better for headaches, but be sure there isn't any in your cough medicine before taking it. Failing that, go to your pharmacist and add in some codeine.

For the cough and bunged-up-ness, get some menthol crystals and dissolve a tiny amount - a quarter of a teaspoon or thereabouts - in a bowl of hot water. Lean over and inhale the steam. It feels spiky, but it works.
