nnyBecause I've pretty much failed at writing, this month:
Post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations. No more than one sentence!
1. Sometimes John had the music taste of a grumpy teenage lesbian.
2. He couldn’t help thinking that was what the universe had in store for him, though, some wildly bizarre death to overshadow everything that he ever did until he’s just Ray Kowalski: Dead of Melon.
3. Ray first came to Canada on the trail of the killer of his father.
4. “It’s amazing the effect you have on a man’s bowels, Sheppard.”
5. And that would be the moment the world went grey and John fell off the horse.
6. "I'll get shot somewhere important by a security guard with a name like 'Gort' and an IQ lower than the alsatian he's partnered with and bleed to death and only find comfort in the thought that sooner or later you'll get assassinated as revenge for losing the scientific community its brightest as-yet-undiscovered mind - "
7. The curse of being a genius, of having a brain that moved so fast, was that it meant that Rodney was on his eleventh graphic mental image before he'd swallowed, noisily, and cleared his throat.
8. "Believe me," Radek commiserated, gently patting the wizard on the shoulder, " it is no better when they understand."
9. She is wearing her pink dotted raincoat and Wellington gum rain boots, although her favorite of all is galoshes, the way it pronounces the sound that she makes as she hurries after her brother through the woods at the back of the house.
10. “And you’re supposed to diagnose my mental health, Sheppard?”
11. "That angel face ain't foolin' me none, sugar; I know just exactly what you're thinking and you'll kindly wait 'til you're someplace decent folks ain't."
12. When have I been nice? he signed back, brisk and efficient.
13. “Jerk,” he heard as he pulled open the bedroom door, and he winced – yeah, that would be his boyfriend contributing to an argument; somehow Jinto always came off as the mature one in these situations.
