Apr. 19th, 2009 04:04 pmPlease to help? The memory stick with all my work on, literally an entire term's worth of work, is now not working. Every time I try to open the file through my computer or windows explorer it comes up as f:/ access denied. Is there a way of getting around this? Please tell me there's a way of getting around this. 'cos I have a sneaking feeling that I forgot to copy the folders to my work laptop, and I know I hadn't gotten around to copying them onto this computer yet.
If I can't get it all back... devastated ain't even the word.
ETA: Salvaged oh thank fuck \o/!!!

Date: 2009-04-19 03:15 pm (UTC)If that doesn't work, a lot of drive/stick manufacturers offer a pay-for recovery service. It'll cost a bit, but if the files are that important, it's worth it...

Can up open up an application (eg word) and then use the file: open command from word?
