My pupil was a bastard today, but I didn't let it get to me. That's probably a good sign, right? I've also bought the jobs paper, though, which suggests I'm not as sanguine as I'd like. I don't know if I want to do this job for another year; badly taught lessons that I cannot in any way fix make me antsy, and at least if I was teaching I'd be responsible for fixing my own fuck-ups.

It sounds to me like trying to find somewhere else is a good idea, at least - you've got this as a backup plan, but ideally it seems like you want something that is letting you stretch and grow more, and not depress you as much.
