nnyMy drawing mojo is on leik WO today. I'm... sulking, actually, because my writing mojo is off the charts terrible. WILL I NEVER BE SATISFIED?
(Tiny scenes of mostly dialogue do not count, say sorry. That this dismisses my writing career to date is irrelevant.)
So far I have drawn an angry turtle, a worryingly pointy-teethed skull, a barn owl, a pair of sleeeeepy eyes, and I've started working through shading exercises, because someday I'd like to be vaguely able to draw from life instead of copying. (YOUR MOTHER'S A TRACER!) Lesson learned: things I will not show anyone have no pressure attached and therefore I can do them without worrying my stomach lining to pieces. Sadly this is a lesson that must be learned roughly a million more times before I manage to apply it to my writing. My head is brick-like and smudged with pencil.
Now I'm noticing the shading on baby-head. Baby-head says try it, punk.
Tomorrow I will do the work thing. Honest.
For now, though, since it becomes too dark to draw, I do the meme thing.
Reply with a character or pairing I'm *familiar* with and I'll write a few sentences of fic.
I guarantee in advance it'll be short and terrible. :D!
