nnyI've pottered online today to pay my Council Tax, buy a gorgeous (if creepy) poster, look for bikes in the classifieds and check up on the status of my order with BT. Just got back from Wales either yesterday or the day before; it ain't far into the summer holidays but I am extraordinarily willing to lose track of which day it is. :D
My parents and sister are coming to visit me at the beginning of next week, then G's staying for a while before dad comes to collect her again and bring me the six boxes of books that I left at home with them. This is awesome, since it means I can start reading those I haven't and bookcrossing those I don't want. I might head back to Southampton with them or I might not; haven't quite decided yet. I'm thinking that I'll have some kind of housewarming Saturday of next week, but that's still kind of an ephemeral idea - email me if you're interested, though, and I'll let you know details. Obviously my floor is open for occupation.
In the meantime I'm reading The Lies of Locke Lamora. I am in love.
Also: rice flour makes tolerable pancakes. Please note: it's not that I'm crap at flipping, it's that the first pancake is a traditional sacrifice to the pancake gods.
