Today has largely been a success, if a particularly underachieving one. :D I found a set of four dinner plates and two tea plates in a not-particularly-offensive pattern in a charity shop for £2; I took out my food money for the month so that it can be sorted into envelopes by week and not, say, spent on the entire series of the Man From UNCLE or anything; I booked myself a free haircut with a trainee type person tomorrow - think I'm going to get it pretty extremely chopped; I put together a profile for OK Cupid.

Yeah, I'm trying the internet dating malarkey. I have no expectations of it; I've already had a couple of message exchanges and an IM chat, and it was fun, and to be honest if I emerge from this with a couple more people to go to gigs/get coffee with I'll be more than happy with the experience.

Tomorrow is for working. Working. Definitely. No more NCIS.

*looks at vlc media player accusingly*

I swear they find their way onto the screen without my intervention...
