nnyI was telling someone at work off (staff, not student) for having inappropriately placed punctuation on their stationery. They scowled and told me off for being anal, and I said pompously, "I'm an English teacher! That's what we do."
And then I deflated.
"Er. Not anal."
I feel like that King of the Hill episode where Bobby gets dumped and lies on the floor for three days. I could deal with that.
