I don't know what to write, now I've signed up to [livejournal.com profile] au_bigbang. I mean, I know it'll be NCIS, and I know it'll be Tim/Tony, but...

Well. Originally I was going to write this AU with chefs and restaurants and farmers' markets and book signings. And then I was thinking about the Temeraire!NCIS AU I started a while back. And then I just got an idea in which Tim runs a junk/antique shop because of a Johnny Lee Miller Hackers type situation in which he's technically not supposed to do any computer stuff, but secretly he's a criminal mastermind who NCIS need to help them.

¬_¬

Thoughts? Any NCIS AUs you want to see?

I would love to see an AU where Gibbs and Tony own a boat-building business -- Gibbs builds the boats with Tony's help, Tony's the front store guy with Gibbs' help -- and Tim, published author extraordinaire (he writes romance novels under a female pseudonym), comes in to buy one. Not because he knows anything about boats, of course, but for story research, IE, Tony fucking DiNozzo, prime romance novel hero material.

I would also love to see a CriminalMastermind!Timmy AU, dude. Awesome.

Hmmm...how about an AU where Tony never became a policeman, but found out about his dad's financial troubles early on and he and his dad both skate on the edge of being con men, with Tony striving to be more legitimate. Tim could be with the FBI (wasn't that where he started? I'm a little cloudy on his canon background, but let's just say his NCIS career never got off the ground - no Tony to help bring him along, after all), and Tim is working undercover to try to expose what the FBI thinks might be racketeering in the DiNozzo business.

Too convoluted? Possible potential?

Anything you write, I will be sure to read, that's for sure!

Hello, I am insane and very little would make me happier than 1930s sugar daddy curtain fic Ducky/Gerald.

I've totally written Tim in the FBI investigating Tony who'd taken over his dad's business! It was only a short thing, though, not a full AU.

The one with the bowtie! Which one is that?

Also, the world needs more hacker!Tim fic. I barely scraped the surface when I wrote him.

Really? ALL of them. /is unhelpful

OMG! Really? I think I've read all your stories, so I must have stolen the idea (unconsciously) from you! I am so, so sorry!

Hee! It was from When Worlds Collide, Spill or Fall Out of Cupboards. IDK if you've read it or not and there's no need to be sorry either way! There's like a million iterations that plot line could take.

If I had time/concentration for a Big Bang - but I shouldn't sign up for one when I'm leaving the Jossverse one hanging, and I need to concentrate on my original thing anyway - I'd consider revisiting my NCIS/Potterverse thing (and maybe actually writing the part where Ziva is in Scotland dealing with Voldemort).
Or there's the reason I made this icon, but [livejournal.com profile] dawning_star seems to have it pretty well in hand. XD (Though on a similar note: MCGEE AND TONY STARK, FOR GREAT MIT ALUMNI PARTY. SOMEONE SHOULD WRITE THIS.)

NCIS/Good Omens crossover (AU by default? IDK). Something is wrong with Tim, and Tony needs to get help, fast, except he doesn't know his way around London AT ALL, and he ends up falling into this old bookshop carrying McGee on his back and a weird ponce wearing tartan asks if he needs help....

And then it ends up that whatever is wrong with McGee *wingficwingficwingfic* is violently supernatural in origin. That's all I got.
