I've been eaten entirely by Criminal Minds, temporarily, I'm not sure if I mentioned. I'm not interested in it in a fandom sort of way - no matter how awesome the characters may be - I'm just a sucker for crime procedural shows. Plus I want everything about Spencer Reid, most fervently his ridiculous tweedy wardrobe and wonderful car. The music on the show is good too, really apt and not so typical as a lot of these shows go for.

To Build a Home by the Cinematic Orchestra ended the last episode, and I thought I'd share; it's really not typical of the group, a lot more Coldplay than they generally come across, but I like it.

OH GOOD! I've been silently pining for the rest of fandom to recognize the brilliance that is Criminal Minds! I too am not fannish output inclined, don't want to RPG or do fanfic or art for it, but I think it is without contest, THE BEST show on American TV right now.

I've watched two seasons in just under a week, I'm definitely hooked. :D It's taking a little time to warm to Prentiss - sometimes she comes across as Loud Exposition Girl, but Reid and Garcia are offbeatly wonderful, JJ and Morgan are conventionally wonderful, Hotch is unsmilingly wonderful and - I have no idea what to think of Rossi yet. I keep getting diverted by the fact that he's Fat Tony, which is almost as bizarrely distracting as Inigo Montoya...
