Thank you ever so for kind comments. I'm sure I don't deserve you, but I shall keep you anyway. ♥

Oh, livejournal, I'm all of a fuddle. Moving somewhere I know no one, and I have far too many things to make lodging practical, and I really don't know how to go about this at all. It's infuriating how many companies won't commit to any sort of pricing online, and I really need to know how much it would cost if I needed to store my books, kitchen equipment and so on; I've got a message waiting on my phone from the woman whose house I went to see yesterday, and lovely as it was I'm sure I can't fit myself in that bedroom, not after being able to grow into a flat. All of it depends on money, of course, and there's difficulty in moving somewhere when you won't have the proper salary until entirely too late.

I know I need to unpick this one strand at a time, but I've only a month so the tendency is to tug haphazardly and make things even more snarled.

ETA: Have spoken to my dad and agreed to the lodging, which is one huge weight off my mind but a few more tiny ones settled in its place. They're rather better balanced, though, I think...

Oh, honey - I am so late on catching up, and gleeful that you'd finally reached a position that you wanted, but I hadn't realized problems were spreading weed-like everywhere.

Ugh.

*hugs you so*

Is there any way to use your parents house as temporary storage? It's an inconvenience, yes, but for a month or so, until you can find (and afford - I love the way a real salary doesn't actually kick in for a month and you're left scrambling until then!) a storage place to keep things once you sort your living arrangements?

I hope you find a new, good place soon &hearts

Could you stay with the lady for a few months until you've got enought saved to move out?

And are you SURE you know no-one in the area? The internet is vast Nny, and I would bet that friends of fandom friends are everywhere, know what I mean?

*hugs*

I'm not sure about the parental storage, my mum's had to put up with a lot of that already so we shall see. They're being absolutely wonderful and supportive, though, so that's a relief. :) I might mention the temporary storage thing to them, but first I'm going to contact storage places and see what I'd be letting myself in for. I might be able to scrape it out of the deposit I laid down here, possibly.

The salary thing is ridiculous and inconvenient, but at the same time - SALARY! I will have some money! I might be able to take trips! XD

Yay for job, though! And yay for comments. I miss you when you're not about. ♥

I think that will probably be the plan, yeah. And the longer I stay with her the more money I can put by, which means possibility of driving lesson, car... :D It'd be nice to have someone around the house again, too, if only to remind me why I like living alone... XD

Definitely with the checking of prices, but I bet if you stress that would be just until you have the salary for normal storage places, regardless of your living situation, that might sweeten it a bit.

And yay! The ability to be solvent is amazing. I am jealous of people who have it :P

*twirls you about and kisses your cheeks sloppily* I missed you too, darling. And I am still so over the moon that you got this job and are moving and.. you're pretty awesome, you know that? You are &hearts

The loft and garage are at your disposal. Anything important can be squished into any vacant nook or cranny you might happen to discover.
