I've just complained on the mod post about the one she put up about OMG PICKING UP HER A LEVELS. Seriously, WTFF? I understand they're still working out a policy, but a little bahleeting wouldn't go amiss right now.

There was basically a massive, and fairly aggressive, argument about attitudes to rape in the meme, because some person thought it was ok to treat rape as THE MOST LOLWORTHY THING EVAH and that rape/sexual assault victims should, like, get over themselves. Cue much bitching over the rights of people to read rape fantasies vs. the rights of people not to be triggered by insanely stupidly worded prompts, and how we can't have discussions on memes because it will KILL THE FANDOM. There was a lot entitlement issue crap going on, and a lot of very childish, and downright offensive attitudes. It really put me off. The idea that someone value getting their rocks off to fanfic over somebody's mental well being staggers me. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see non-con banned or whitewashed out of fandom, I'd just like it to be treated sensitively or at least warned for!
