I would like a pair of boots for work, and I'd like them to possibly be wearable with dresses. OMG PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE.

I love boots #3, but they're not QUITE suitable for skirt-wear, I don't think. If you're looking for something that bridges the gap between biker/sexy and skirt wear, I'd go with these:

I like 2 or 3 (I don't like 1 either) but .... yeah, 3 doesn't work too well with skirts, and also, OMG LACES. Complicated laces. Just looking at them makes me tired (hey, don"t judge me, I am a synchro skating mom, I am a champion lace-tier! I HAVE CALLUSES ON MY PINKIES TO PROVE IT. I can lace 10 pairs of skates in 5 minutes. And I am telling you, laces are just too much work :D ). So yeah, I guess 2.

Since I have hideous taste, I'm going to refrain from voting lest I mess up the results provided by more sensible people. (Seriously: I have never figured out how to wear boots with dresses, so I'm totally hopeless.)

However, on purely personal ("I'd wear that") merits, I'd go with the second pair.
