Funny you should say that. Reg Shoe is one of my fave characters, and I'm looking forward to giving him the opportunity for Hot Raunchy Sex. Reg/Igor OTP!
Yet there are so many lovely people in the undead community. Angua and Susan, for once. And Maladict. Oh, Maladict...
Though I'm of the camp that liked Maladict more at the beginning of the book than I did at the end, if you know what I mean. Still, some Maladict/Perks certainly wouldn't go amiss.

Oh, definitely! He was so hawt at the beginning of the book, while at the end, I was going like WTF? He didn't have a real function during the conclusion, which annoyed me a bit. Plus, I'd have prefered if his sex had turned out to be the opposite of, er, what it turned out to be.
I really should rephrase this comment. *shakes head over inability to express herself*
Exactly -- I liked the elegant, effete, and important-to-the-plot Maladict of the beginning. And I am in total agreement regarding the gender issue. It really would have been better the other way.
Now I want Maladict slash. I don't care about canon, he could have been lying to Perks. He's the type to play around with sexual stereotypes in order to keep up the mystique.
My theory is that he's a transvestite. And he's gonna go into stand up comedy.
"Was gonna be in the army, ended up in stand up comedy. Bit different. Rather more makeup where I went, I feel. In the army there's only the night time look, and that's a bit slapdash..."
Maybe he just wanted to feel one of the girls. You know, pretending to be sweet and harmless, and no danger at all, and then - ha ha! - strike when not expected.
