Awful Poetry Huzzah

There is a certain pleasure in being so large
while showering; a sense you are soaping down
a car, a horse, a ship or barge -
something sturdy and unarguably of use.
And - for it never penetrated far - your abuse
washes over the expanses and crevasses and folds of me
and away. It won't stay;
you think I've never been called fat before?
What's more, I don't think you're ready
for this jelly so - while your attention
is on finding new ways to hurt
new ways to be curt
new insults to blurt
I shall finish my shower, dress
(as I wish)
and find some dessert.
