nnyI have a pottermore thinger. Does anyone else have a pottermore thinger? *enthralled*
I'm watching everyone do the AO3 meme with interest; it seems rather boastful to me but I am self aware enough to realise that that is because I have practically no hits on my stories. :D
I'm reading the Temeraire books again, since I have owned Tongues of Serpents for ages but haven't read it because I couldn't remember what came before. Apparently there's an even newer one now? I ought to catch up on N. K. Jemisin's books, too, because I really did enjoy the first one. I've been a little distracted with my Kindle - that's what I eventually plumped for, I'm reasonably certain I forgot to say (and thanks for the advice!) - and all the free books I can find for it. The Kindle is called Hex and I have also bought a cover for it, made from a Hardy Boys book with a credit for an FBI agent on the front. It's pretty swanky.
It's been all whinge all the time around here lately, and that's going to change. Now I've made a decision to find a new job I'm all lighthearted and bouncy and full of caffeine and about to watch the Fugitive oh yeah you knows it. How are you?
