I'm not that bright. How on earth can you do an audblog post from England? I'm all confuddled. My phone number's the wrong shape. ;)
Dang. I wanted to say hi!

Date: 2004-01-06 08:04 pm (UTC)I did one. It was a bit tricksty, but not life endangering. The most flumoxing thing was being asked to, 'press the pound key.' I swear, I scratched a hole in my head, over that one.
'The pound... woh?' I thought, 'oh, HASH! key, d'oh!'
You go here: http://www.livejournal.com/manage/phonepost.bml
You type: 44(then your area code followed by your tel no.)
Choose a pin number of six figures or more.
Press save settings (you don't have to worry about the Allowed Transcribers field, the recorded American voice asks you that when you call)
Then you go here: http://www.livejournal.com/phonepost/numbers.bml
and choose a number to call, unfortuntely, of course, you only get to call over seas :( It was my whim to pick one in Michigan, but I'm sure any will work -- perhaps write more than one down just in case.
Then, once armed with a number, take a deep breath and pick up the phone, and dial.
After a mo, you'll get told what to do by a recording.
If I recall correctly you begin by...
Punching in: # [followed by your number 44 etc] #
More instructions from recording.
Punch in: # [followed by your pin] #
More instructions from the recording
I'm absolutely certain you can do it from their :)
Hope that helps; if you haven't already worked it out, that is.
