STRANGE THOUGHT ALERT!

This is officially not my fault. I blame it in equal parts on
mimine and
autumnchestnut.
"On the can't cook team, we have Narcissa Malfoy, who has brought her husband Lucius along. Narcissa- you have a story about Lucius in the kitchen?"
Lucius' fingers clenched uselessly- the damned camera crew had confiscated his wand, saying that it was unhygienic in the kitchen. Damn their eyes! He made a mental note to do so as soon as his wand was restored to him.
Eventually Narcissa finished her long-winded story about the "jam sandwich incident", which had the studio audience in stitches and Lucius vowing revenge on every single member of the studio audience. He hoped Draco was taping this, so he'd have a record of their faces...
The announcer turned to the other team, and found himself on the receiving end of a glare that put him off his stride for a moment.
"And... Severus, is it?"
"Professor Snape."
"Professor Snape. Your partner has informed us that you won't cook. What's your reason?"
"I am a perfectly adaquete cook, if that's what you're asking; I just choose not to. What else are house elves for? And call off your 'assistant'- I wear aprons for no one. I am not suicidal enough to risk spilling the ingredients I work with."
The announcer threw a helpless glance at the man's partner, Remus Lupin, who just shrugged, his eyes twinkling. The man covered his face with one hand and laughed silently as Snape fought off the woman who was desperately trying to force an apron emblazoned with the word "won't!" over his head.
Okay, I should really stop there. I'm a bad person. =)
