1. Return to Me: David Duchovny and Minnie Driver. Angst and fluff and romance. A great movie when you want a good cry followed by a huge dose of "awwwwwwwwwwww...."

2. I Know This Much is True, by Wally Lamb. Depressing but brilliant. Two twin brothers, one a paranoid schizophrenic and the other has to cope with that for most of his life.

3. Third Eye Blind. Their first two CDs are wonderful.

2) Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. Unless you've already read it, in which case you know what I mean, and you should move on to something else by her.
3) JEFF BUCKLEY. Grace. For songs, I like them all so much it's hard for me to tell. I suppose "So Real".
