nnyJust got all dressed up and made up to go to a conference in manchester and for drinks after, which I was all excited about. Unfortunately one of my flatmates has broken the yale lock on the way out which means I cannot leave the house.
Landlord told me to get a screwdriver from the basement and pry the lock off the door, but I have tried and it is not, in fact, possible.
I don't know what to do :(
ETA woot serendipitous locksmith friend visiting next door! Now we have no yale lock but do have a normal lock. Landlord might get us a new lock within the next few days, because he is a bit useless.
Still no conference, though. :/
