Literally the only thing, the only thing I have asked my flatmate for this move, was if I could use the washing machine Thursday night. I'm moving today and I wanted to get as many of my clothes clean as possible, so it was easier for me to find something Monday morning for my new job. Logic, right?

He made this hesitant face. "Well I might be going home this weekend," he said, "so I kinda..."

"No, okay, that's cool, that's cool, I'll do it tomorrow," I said, and made mental plans for last night, for today if necessary. Fine. Fine.

He didn't use the washing machine Thursday. He put on two washes one after the other last night. So I went traipsing down this morning to see if I could maybe still get a couple of things down, but no - there's a wash in that's been paused overnight so there's still three hours left on it.

These kind of tiny passive aggressive actions are constant and you know what? Yeah, okay, I'm frustrated but at the same time dudes I am moving and therefore life is excellent.
