Apologies for the depressive post- I had been up all night, and had got so involved in a faux-drunken conversation on crispy_critter's journal that I seemed to be channeling Charlie's hangover.

Been shopping, 'cos my loan has come through. I bought Lush goodies for my mother's birthday, a mini plasma lamp for little G's birthday, and a space hopper that looks like an eight-ball for my best-buddie's birthday.

And for me? Two absolutely beautiful books of Greek myths, £12.99 for the both, and Iain Banks's Complicity for £2.99 from Oxfam.

I have still bought no shoes. I resent having to pay £50 for a pair of trainers, but I can't seem to find any decent-looking one for cheaper; ones that won't fall apart in a month, anyway. *sigh*

I just made a great icon- Nac Mac Feegle en mass, with "vis-ne faciem capite repletam" on it in vaguely impressive lettering.

But it won't load! It says the file's too big!
