I was expecting a huge hangover and a relapse on the cough/cold front this morning. I woke up feeling entirely healthy, which threw off my plans quite significantly- I'd intended to spend all day in my pyjamas and force myself to eat and drink lots of tea and maybe watch a couple of films.

Instead, I... well, I spent all day in my pyjamas and ate lots of sugar and drank lots of tea and watched a couple of films.

But I felt *guilty* about it.

RPG slut strikes again...

The year is 2004 and the war in the wizarding world is over at last.

The costs have been high and the changes have been profound, but with the deaths of Albus Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort, there is a real chance for peace. A treaty has been agreed and signed in the blood of the living and the dead.

The treaty has brought many changes.

Lucius Malfoy, now leader of Meracus Sanguis, famously said, "Politics is war without bloodshed," when he announced that the Death Eaters would sign the treaty and resign themselves to seeking representation in the new wizarding Parliament, the Witan. Running against Malfoy for the position of Minister of Magic, Remus Lupin agreed to lead Exorior following Harry Potter's resignation from the Order of the Phoenix. Cornelius Fudge is striving to regain his position by leading Perstatum, urging a return to the values before the war.

Madam Griselda Marchbanks, Elder of the Wizengamot is Acting Minister of Magic until the election results are in. She has been responsible for implementing the changes across the wizarding world, including those at Hogwarts. The curriculum has been revised under Headmistress Minerva McGonagall, and changes have been made to reduce House rivalry. The Houses continue to exist, but with the number of orphans left behind, changes have been necessary.

One of those changes is that the muggle-born no longer live in the muggle world, but are removed at the first sign of magic. The very young are taken in by wizarding families or to the Children's House with the younger orphans. The Children's House is located on the grounds of Hogwarts and run by the most famous child to grow up in the muggle world. Harry Potter is determined that no more children will suffer as he did, as Tom Riddle did.

The war is over. Now it's time to rebuild.
