Tomorrow I'm going for a trek, to take pics of some of the weird and bloody wonderful things in this city. Plus the geeeeeeeeky things, natch. *g* I will probably scan some of them in to show you all, and may inflict a pic of me on you, too. Maybe.

I watched a fantastic film at Chutney's, tonight, plus some Chris Cunningham music videos- like Come to Daddy, for instance. Genius.

The film was directed by Richard Linklater, who directed Dazed and Confused... which is kind of odd, looking at Slacker and this new film I watched. It's called "Waking Life" and is very strange to look at. It was originally filmed normally, then every cell was painted. It's fantastic and strange, and has weird amazing monologues from all these different people. I don't know how to explain it, I just think you should watch it. *g*

Anyone know the name of the man that runs the Blue Cat Club? He's mentioned *once*, when Mrs Palm says that unnatural acts are only natural after all. I *NEED* his name. Wah!

... I didn't know about the day of silence thing.

Turns out I haven't spoken to anyone today, anyway. Not because of any higher purpose, sadly. Why do I let myself have days like this?

If anyone remembers Raggy Dolls... is it just me, or does he look entirely too happy here? I thought he was the Eeyore of the Raggy Dolls. You know, the miserable bitter alcoholic character.

I always loved those characters. Like Eeyore, and Oscar the Grouch, and Puddleglum the Marshwiggle, and Sad Sack... They were great.
