Thank you so much, la_rainette and whoever the anonymous person was that sent me a coupon thing. You are both my heroes so much, because now I get to keep my icons YAY.

My wrist is hurting like a bitch, and I'm not sure precisely what I've done to make it so. People seem to be suggesting 'slept wrong' an awful lot, which... well, you'd think that such a thing would require me to have slept, y'know? Ah well! I have tea. Tea cures a surprising number of ills, as it goes.

I'm supposed to be writing every day this summer, because I need to improve, and because I have a somewhat egotistical desire to write a fic for which I'll be remembered, at some point, but it's not really working so far. Keep getting caught up in other things, like room-tidying and RPing. *resolves to do better*

It's weird. I was never a part of ff.net, never found it, never posted there. I seem to have sneaked into my various fandoms through the back door. Perhaps I should find more places to pimp myself, but I don't feel worth it, yet.

Achieving dreams

I remember sitting in pyjamas, and watching the New Adventures of Superman, just before Live and Kicking came on on a Saturday morning.

And I remember watching Lois Lane eating ice cream, with a spoon, directly from the container.

That, you see, was what adulthood was - having your own ice cream, and your own spoon, and not having anyone to answer to. Not having a mother to tell you off for eating from the container. Not having to wait until you'd finished all your carrots before you were allowed it.
