I owe my landlord about £200 less than I thought and he's willing for me to send a cheque as soon as my over-taxedness comes back. This is one weight less on my mind. :) Also just found a pair of cropped trousers that, while not particularly interesting, actually fit me, in a charity shop, for £4.25. I'm sure I could have formulated that sentence in a way that involved less commas but hey, at least I have something to wear on my Great American Holiday. I also (despite having gone to bed at 6:30am) got up at 8:30 and fetched many a box from the grocers around the corner and am halfway through packing my books, which are the bulk of my belongings. So I'm feeling fairly productive, all told.

I have a few milliways things to urgently sort today, which I'll be doing between shoving things in boxes, and then Smaller and I are going to have something of a decadent meal and probably watch the Libertine.

I haven't quite faced the fact of how much I'm going to miss her, yet. I will think about that later.

I am failing at personal relationships, currently, but I'm failing in a slightly less faily way than I usually do. By which I mean things are (I think) maybe starting to get sorted; or at least I'm getting better at saying things that need to be said. I'm still bloody scared while waiting for reactions to said things, but hey. Communication is Key.

I expect I'll be pretty absent on LJ the next couple of months. Until things at home are sorted, and head is a little more sorted, and I'm back in the swing of Southampton life. But I am incapable of stepping away entirely, you know me, just make sure to take care of yourselves when I'm not about, 'k?
