I was having a good day and I am having a good day apart from there's something in my finger and I can't get it out.

I'm thinking a tiny piece of glass, or something, considering it came from the dishwasher, but I've prodded my finger enough with tweezers to give myself a blister but it's still in there and every time I hit a key with that finger it huuuuurts. And I'm not a touch typist, and I use my index finger a lot, so ow. Ow.

I seem to have mislaid my Canadian flag, also. I had it shoved down the neck of my t-shirt earlier in the misguided hopes it would exempt me from the half-giggling circuitous annoying row mum and G were having.

Next time I'm trying Switzerland.

Last time I looked it was near the bottom of the page but now the bar comes up second in a google search on 'milliways'. I'm not sure whether to be pleased or faintly worried by this. ¬_¬

How much sewing would a slow sewer sew if a slow sewer was sewing slow?

It has taken me so long to shorten one pair of trousers and I have three more to do. *flails pathetically at enormous pile of trousers* Why don't we have a sewing machine like any NORMAL household? All that's keeping me sane is my playlist and vague ponderings about SG:A fanfic.

Weekends aren't long enough.

Stupidly happy again. I'm actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, which is a first. Going to yet another pub quiz tonight with the people from work, and I have a silly fanfic idea that's dancing in my head, and Danny Elfman is singing seasonal songs at me wtf, and just...

I know I'm being boring currently, I'll endeavour to get some writing done soon because I know I owe people stuff, but just for now there's too much bouncing in my head to have the patience to write anything of substance, see?
