nny: (sleep)
Resolutions:

- Watch the DVDs I own but haven't watched.
- Listen to the music I own but haven't listened to.
- Read the books I own but haven't read.
- Start treating finances in a coherent manner and recognise that money is important.
- Write more.
- Continue with the progress of last year. DO NOT BACKSLIDE.

It really is the strangest thing when new people feel familiar. :D

I have an odd request.

My education in film is sorely lacking, really dreadfully so. I should make more of an effort to watch TCM or something, I suppose, but I do tend to get distracted by the internet. I reckon the DVD collection at the library is the way to go, really, but I do need input from your side of things, since I have no idea whatsoever where to start.

What I'm wanting is classics. Bergman and Hepburn and Cary Grant and whoever, very restrained drama, repressed men and feisty women... XD God, I don't know. Like I say, I have watched pretty much nothing. Basically I want films I Ought To Have Watched. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks ever so much to everyone who responded to my last post, genuinely frabjous of you. I asked my mum for a list of films, too, and I've now rented Rebecca, The Bicycle Thieves, and Garden State, (damn the library for their 'rent two, get one free', anyway) and the list I've made is stuck to the TV screen! :D!
