nny: (*facepalm*)
Sassafrasn comedies.

I have dialogue for a Sports Night fic brewing in my head and I keep getting interrupted by a mental laugh track.

XD

ETA: I am assuming you've heard about the [livejournal.com profile] fandom_counts thing? If you've not, consider doing the [livejournal.com profile] fandom_counts thing.

ETA 2: In which they admit they fucked up.
nny: (bring me that horizon)
I don't remember much of my dream last night, but the part I do remember was awesome. I was in a large Waterstones - sort of like the one in Cardiff city centre, actually - and there was an enormous wooden boat as part of a promotion for something or other. It had incredibly jaunty red sails and bunting, and my colleague (of some sort) and I were really in desperate need of the boat so we sneaked aboard. He made his way to the wheel while I ran around the edge of the boat to find where it had been tethered to bookshelves; I cast off and we sailed triumphantly out of the bookshop and down the high street.

It totally made up for the fact that I seem to be sleeping in segments of one-two hours interspersed with staring at the ceiling miserably. XD
nny: (I lied)
I would so make myself a pirate flag if I could decide what to put on it. I love how varied they were. The Black Pearl's - or rather, Barbossa's, I suppose - seems to be Calico Jack's, while Jack Sparrow's is a variation (a variation that I approve of mightily) of Henry Every's. I feel kinda obliged to like Stede Bonnet's the best, since he's my favourite of the pirates I've read about, but dude; Captain Dulaien and John Quelch had nekkid peoples!

I suppose, since I'm going to be starting a pirate library with [livejournal.com profile] apiphile and all, it really ought to have books involved, but clearly the books must triumph. There will be no books with swords/spears through, or books on fire, nor anything in the vicinity that might cause harm to books. No swords crossed underneath, for fear the book should fall! Gasp! Daring fellow that I am I might just risk a book and a cup of tea on my flag, so long as it is clearly indicated that the tea is in no danger of spilling.

What about you?
