Finally getting around to actually watching the first episode of SPN and this is shiny! I haven't had this same feeling since watching the X-Files, back in the day.

Oh, and since I'm giving out music, The Ocean by Peter Mulvey ought to be a vid, too. I need to find the lyrics somewhere but they don't seem to be online and I'm way too lazy to transcribe them right now. Maybe someday. It should be a Duck/Dan vid, in my opinion, 'cos Wilby Wonderful is gorgeous. :D

I was talking on the phone with soupytwist earlier - and can I just state, here, that I cannot wait to move in with her, not least because then I will have someone to CLING TO when watching SPN - and somehow the conversation got around to Rodney's sexual habits and I went on a big ramble about how, when in Russia, he slept with a number of disturbingly hairy scientists. And then there was this one night with a six foot tall blonde woman who handcuffed him to the bed and shouted orders at him in Russian and almost broke him with the athletic sex. It's why he goes all misty eyed when he thinks about blondes; his mental soundtrack is saying 'God, I could have died! ...that is so hot.' It's also why sometimes he has a little bit of trouble concentrating when Radek's yelling Czech insults in the lab - it's not like he really cares enough to hear the differences between languages.

It's nice to know that even though I never really put conscious thought into this stuff my brain is totally ticking away with its own little theories behind the scenes.

Oh, also, I started writing a fic to tropes over text, but it's enormously difficult to fit the speech patterns of Rodney McKay into SMS and I'm nearly out of credit. So here's an attempt at finishing it.
