(no subject)

...well that was a productive morning.

I have a job now, starting tomorrow at 9am - this is after registering with the temp agency at midday today, by the way - and therefore I will be in London... er... Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning? Ish?

It's just data entry stuff, but the money's reasonable and the hours are plentiful, so it's more money towards rent and/or going away for new year.

Also had my first counselling thing. It was good. Odd, but good. Uncomfortable in some ways; it's weird to have patterns of thought, that you've always had, questioned so intently, and really weird to have it pointed out to you that they're actually kinda crappy. I mean... it's different, coming from friends, because they like me. Y'know? This woman knows nothing about me and has no previous impressions of me, so she's not just being nice to me 'cos we're friends. I dunno, it's odd. I have homework, and everything; I have to spend this week accepting things from people. Or making more of an effort to do so. Not deflecting compliments straight away, that kinda thing.

Very weird.

My next session's booked for next Wednesday, so I guess we'll see how this works out.

Oh, and I've been bunnied leik wo overnight, with little snippets of dialogue and text in my head without any sort of context. Also come up with a basic plotline for my damned wooden ships AU thing which really wasn't a serious idea, before. Bloody SG:A.
