Okay, that's it. The drinking is getting ridiculous, so it's time for one of my sporadic I AM NOT DRINKING NUMMORE posts. Seriously, I need to take a break because I'm using it as a coping mechanism and that's just stupid, frankly. When I can deal with life in a slightly more sensible way again - if such a thing is possible for me - I'll be back on the booze.

Let's see how quickly I flake out on this.

So I joined wrisomifu (Write Something, You Miserable Fuck) and I've committed to writing 10 minutes a day throughout November. I just have no idea what to write. Should it be the same thing I'm working on all the time? Should I drabble at random? Should I start on one of the incredibly ridiculous McShep AUs I have stashed away? Hmm.

Any ideas or pokin's welcome. :D

So I started on the wrisomifu this evening, wrote for ten minutes, and it turns out that I'm working on one of the McShep AUs Of Doom that I have in my folder of INSANE AND CRAZY ideas. The likelihood is that I will not get it finished this month - there is a distinct possibility that I will be writing this AU for, like, the rest of my natural life (but goddamn it looks fun) - and there's a distinct possibility I'll flake out on it entirely.

I think the likelihood I'll finish it will increase with people actually reading it, but I can't guarantee that, so I'm wondering whether I should post my ten minutes of stuff a day or whether I should keep it all to myself and... probably never actually post it.

Opinions?
