Aug. 25th, 2008 08:22 pmI believe I'm caught up on livejournal for the weekend, so yay for that. :D I've also talked to my parents about finances, which is major progress in maturity for me, and I'm relatively easy about borrowing some money from them because I know I will have the means to pay them back in a couple months, so that's good too. Tomorrow I'm going to Cheltenham to take a look at a flat with Smaller, and tonight I'm going to rejig and prettify my CV so that I can apply to a number of jobs there prior to moving.
I'm feeling pretty good about the whole thing, really, like it's what I ought to be doing, and that's never not a good feeling.
I've got to go back to the doctor again this week - check in on new meds - and I think I'm going to stick with them until I get settled in Cheltenham at least. They're a tad muffling, which can be evidenced by the fact that the Shrine didn't make me cry, but they're not killing me like the citalopram did and I'm willing to ride out the weird adjustment side-effects if I get a less loopy mindset out of it.
And re: the Shrine? David Hewlett is a fine, fine actor, and I hope that he and Joe get to work together in the future. They're fucking awesome.
