Feb. 8th, 2013 08:50 pmGenuinely love Elementary - it seems to make deliberate efforts to be not sexist and not racist, which is delightful.
Genuinely dislike kids, who yell 'oi fatty' at poor innocent teachers who are doing nothing more offensive than marking books. (I accept I am fat. Someday I shall be awesome enough to snap back 'WELL DONE A FACTUAL INSULT' but today is not that day).
Genuinely dislike working 12 hour days and still not being able to afford a holiday (there are disadvantages to having holiday time only in the peak season - I have had breaks but my last actual holiday style thing was Chicago 2007/2008 new year).
Genuinely looking forward to the weekend of the 8th - Amon Tobin gig followed by geek gathering and cards against humanity :D
I'm applying for jobs again. Please could someone keep me for a while? I'd like that.
(I'm applying for a masters this is folly and I have no idea how I'm going to fund it but I'm applying anyway).
