I love Saturdays

Today is a day of nothing, NCIS and crosswords and, in a moment, flapjacks. I really need someone to kick my arse about writing, frankly, but people are never around on weekends; I'd be out too if Gloucester had anywhere to go. (And, possibly, if it was warmer.)

There's a spreading damp patch in my bedroom, with the weather being as it is, and now a spreading crack in the other wall that has started leaking water when it rains; the letting agents have been informed and I'm a leedle concerned, considering how bad my ex-arthritis still gets when it's cold and/or damp. Ah well, the fact that I've got the letting agent involved directly is pleasing to me; things like that used to wait for weeks until I could get up the nerve/dismiss the lethargy long enough. It's nice to be able to see the tiny evidences of progress scattered about your life, y'know?

Once the flapjacks are in I shall finish the drabble meme from the other day, I am resolved. Over there so far is an OC ficlet, two Tony/Tims and an Abby/McGee. I do not know why Tim's name changes in the middle, there.

*laughs* I'm not in pyjamas but it's nearly 4pm, so I'd be faintly horrified if I were. The flapjacks smell NOMMY and have pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries in - it's gonna be difficult making sure there are some left for the friend who's visiting tomorrow...

SHERLOCK HOLMES IS A GOOD CHOICE. I should maybe get hold of that. Also knitting! I'm definitely still learning on that front, just about to start learning coloured patterns, which I'm a little nervous about. XD

It's, um, 5pm in France. :D I've been up since 10.30. I cooked sweet potatoes and leftover duck for lunch and everything! but I haven't changed out of pyjamas yet. :)

ha! I had no idea you were in France! I admit, mostly I changed out of pyjamas 'cos I had to go to the market for veg, and I think they would have been worried.

Well, it's all off his interplay with Abby. Where I am in S2 at the moment, McGee's all rookie probie when it comes to the investigation side, but when he's doing tech and helping Abby he's in his element and confident and in charge. And I choose to believe he'd be like that outside of work. Courteous, gentle, but absolutely not afraid to say what he wants when he knows what he wants. Also, he's a geek and he likes goths, he's got to be a little bit kinky ;)
