So who's your favourite villain?

Just pondering.

Me? I like Steerpike. Not my *favourite*, most likely, but when you add Jonathon Rhys Meyers...

*g*

Whatever I was going to say in response to your question has been flung out the window at the sight of that picture.

Oh Lordy...I forgot how *pretty* that movie was.

Hm...let's see, favourite villain. I suppose it depends on the definition of 'villain', but I think it's a toss-up between Hannibal Lecter (though more the movie version than book) and Mr. Teatime from Hogfather.

The Sheriff George of Nottingham, in 'Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves'. Bad movie, absolutely delectable Alan Rickman.

To contrast this icon completely, I'd have to go with Melkor. NOT Morgoth - even though they're technically the same - but Melkor had even Manwë fooled.

Childishly enough, my 3rd favourite would be Scar from Disney's Lion King. Because I'm weird like that. o.O

Gareth from Labryinth. Who doesn't like David Bowie in tights dancing around with muppets?

And yes, when played by JRM, anything is good.

mm.

Steerforth perhaps.

Captain jack Sparrow of course, who is an out and out villian..

by the way - i love your "shiny" icon - when you've finished playing with it - may I nick it? it sums me up so perfectly!

You're very welcome to nick it- it was made by [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge, and pretty much all of his icons are up for grabs. *g*

It's nice to see you again, lady. =)
