Titus was glorious and hedonistic in its insanity. I'm not sure whether I'll keep ahold of it- it was well worth watching, and Alan Cumming absolutely, without question demonstrated the best acting in it. Every time I see him I get annoyed about the fact that almost *everyone* I meet I have to explain who he is. He should be far more famous than he is, and Titus is proof of that.

Jon Rhys Meyers was awfully pretty, as usual, and did his whole insane and effeminate thing well, also as usual.

Much with the men, nudity, and lounging. Also, incest. Which... I now want to read. Maybe I should update my squick list from incest to twincest, because the mircest doesn't worry me, and now this. Hmm. And yet Fred/George still worries me severely.

I am not fond of Anthony Hopkins. He's not as good, in my opinion, as he is generally thought to be. He does, however, have his moments.

Overall? Yes. Watch it. Purely for aesthetic reasons- the costume and set design and such are brightly coloured and insane and such an odd mix of styles and vintages- it's fascinating. But the film is too long, and tries to be entirely too clever.

But hell, I'll keep it. Alan Cumming, after all.

I have Teh Titus!Alan love. And yes, coolest costume/set design ever. Anthony Hopkins really, really irritated me in this film. Like... killy urges irritated.

I think that's less because Fred/George is twincest and more because it's... well, Fred/George. I personally don't have a problem with twincest ships, but that one? Squicks me. And several others have expressed the same view. I think it's just... them...
