In all honesty, I doubt I'd speak to him. Canon Snape is a scary bastard, and I was never a particularly confident kid- I would have kept my head down and avoided him. The age I am now... well, I'd still avoid him. I'm not good with confrontation, and he'd probably think I'm an idiot. I might ask him a simple question- ask him to explain something to me- purely so I get to hear his voice... :D
What is your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement, sad as it is, was getting reccomended by
switchknife. It wasn't so much because OMIGAWD! it was switch, as because it was a story that I had a *hell* of a time writing. It really didn't agree with me at all, and it was a struggle to actually get it written. To have it well received after the pain of writing was a damned good feeling.
What is your favourite animal to have as a pet?
I have only ever had rabbits, guinea pigs, fish. Didn't get on well particularly with any of them. I like animals, I get on with animals, but allergies and parents have ensured I've never had all that much experience with them. I think my ideal pet would be a cat, were I not allergic. :D
What is your favorite vacation spot, and why?
I haven't really been anywhere. The place I've loved the most was Avebury, a slightly less well-known stone circle than stonehenge. It's been moved around a lot, is no longer consistent with the positioning of leylines and such because the way it is now was considered more aesthetically pleasing, but there's an awful lot there. Old villages, standing stones, burial mounds... and these ditches. That was what I loved. I ran down a ditch, and over a rampart on the other side, and I lay there for a while. It was so peaceful- I could see individual cloud shadows moving across the field, because there was nothing for miles. I felt serene, and happy. I've never quite recaptured that feeling, but the memory is enough. Avebury is my happy place. :D
Name one song you love listening to endlessly and never get tired of, even if it's sad or old-fashioned or whatever.
Um... there are quite a few of these. Songs that come on the headphones and make me *beam*. Quicklist:
That was a crazy game of poker: Of a Revolution
Smile: Onelinedrawing
Pinch Me: Barnaked ladies
Once Around the Block: Badly Drawn Boy
Hallelujah: Jeff Buckley (I know it's not *by* him. His version. Do not start the massdebate (WANK WANK WANK) again...*g*)
What are you doing at Uni?
English Language, and I kinda regret it actually. I was informed there would be far more history of language in there, but the courses got dropped as soon as I was eligible to take them. Instead, I ended up with Systemic Functional Grammar, which I cannot get enthusiastic about. Ah well. I will have a degree at the end of it. That's what counts.
On another note, re: a sorting hat quiz...
samvimesiam: I feel that it is very ironic to ask, on a SORTING HAT QUIZ, if you agree or disagree with the statement "70. I daydream; I often get lost in thought or a fantasy world."
villainny: :D
villainny: No, very uncharacteristic.
samvimesiam: I got Ravenclaw. Figures.
villainny: I can't be arsed to do it. I'm tempted to make someone else do it for me. That prolly makes me Slytherin...
samvimesiam: LOL
samvimesiam: "If you couldn't be bothered to take this test, go directly to Slytherin..."
villainny: Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred pounds, because let's face it, you're probably rich and obnoxious enough as it is.
villainny: And you can always nick money of the pufflehuffs.
